“I really likeyour completely unaffected way of singing. I find you believable which, I think, should be the main aim of a singer. I enjoyed hearing my lyrics sung by you.”

“It's not singer plus accompaniment so much as four musicians working together ... a dozen intimate performances that bring out the best in McCreeth's voice.”

“Highly original songwriting in wildly contrasting styles.”

A classically trained vocalist and musician who has pursued a solo song writing life, Sue McCreeth has been compared to Joni Mitchell and Laura Nyro. Her influences include soul, blues, jazz, folk and world music, and her songs cover a wide range of dramatic scenarios from the evolving state of a single human heart to the dilemmas of planet earth in her own time. She has released six critically acclaimed CDs and her songs are used as teaching material in Berklee College of Music, USA.

I am delighted to have written and released several new tracks over the last year, as well as a series of reworked re-releases. This is a very modern take on my highly acclaimed track After This - a song for our apocalyptic times, with hope for the years ahead that we can turn the tide on the environmental disaster all around us. Please listen to a snippet in the player above.
The Dancer I am particularly excited about a reworking of my seminal track The Dancer, which has been mastered by Alex Wharton at Abbey Road Studios, London. This is a song that has always been incredibly important to me and it has now been re-arranged and updated for 2019 with some brand new writing. It has been a joy to work with the exceptionally talented Karl Addy on instruments and production to rework it into something really special.
I think this is the most important and exciting work I have ever done, so please watch the trailer video below and I hope you enjoy it as much as I do!
